I had such a lovely experience. The server and chef were both so sweet and hospitable. The food was exceptional. I wish I didn’t live 2.5 hours away, otherwise I’d be here at least once a week. Thank you for the great experience. Hope to come back sooner than later.

Had dinner here after hiking in Mojave, so we had worked up an appetite. This was no joke some of the best food I’ve ever had. The beef rib was melt in your mouth tender, and the turkey leg was like thanksgiving on steroids. The side dishes were all on point. And the staff was super friendly. We’re coming back again before we leave town.

If you are in the area, you need to stop and check this place out !!! I ordered the pork chop with green beans and cabbage! Izzy was so helpful! We told her it was our first time and she walked us through everything they had to order ! We left with a side of Mac and cheese! Delicious all around and great customer service ! Thank you Izzy for making our first time there amazing and memorable! Definitely will be back soon

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience at Southern Twist. We were really looking forward to trying the BBQ, especially because the reviews are generally very positive, but our visit did not meet our expectations. We ordered the brisket, and for around $30 we received only two small slices of meat. Unfortunately, the brisket was extremely dry and tasted as if it had been sitting for a long time. It was difficult to enjoy because it lacked tenderness and flavor. The sides were also disappointing. The mac and cheese especially did not taste like traditional mac and cheese, and the overall impression was that the food was not freshly prepared at the time we visited. Maybe we simply came at an unlucky time, and perhaps the quality is better when the food is freshly made or when there is more customer flow. We understand that every restaurant can have an off day, and we hope this was just our experience. However, for us, it was very disappointing, especially because we were excited to try authentic BBQ. For the price, we expected much better quality and a more enjoyable meal. We left most of our food untouched because we unfortunately could not enjoy it. We hope other

This is for sure a place you want to stop. Do you have soul? You will after eating here. It is more then just food. This place is amazing in every aspect. Now listen discounts for first responders and Military. That's not all discounts for truck drivers even with over night parking available. Now to the food. Ox tails oh my goodness. This was my first time experiencing OX tails and what a treat. The Dino ribs, collard greens, broccoli, so flavor full. My wife had the meatloaf, and ribs. My son had the meatloaf greens and dirty rice. I had OX tails over rice, broccoli, mac & cheese and a Dino rib. Now dont get me started on the Peach cobbler. Oh my make sure you get it warm. The dinning was nice and clean. The owner and staff very very nice and helpful. The food taste is so amazing. The cost a great value and worth the amazing food. Make sure you make a stop here. And truck parking in the rear. Be respectful if parking keep your trash picked up and visit this great food establishment and help them stay open.
